What You'll Do::
As HR Operations Manager, you will make significant contributions to the College’s Human Resources initiatives and execute day-to-day deliverables. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing the employee.

 
  • HR Systems Optimization
    • Oversee the administration and maintenance of HR information systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant HR Systems and assist with implementing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting
    • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports, identifying themes, and providing executive summaries for leadership review.
  • Benefits & Employee Wellness
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
    • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and resolve issues promptly.
    • Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about available benefits options, enrollment processes, and changes to benefits programs.
    • Create and distribute benefits-related materials, such as summary plan descriptions, enrollment guides, and wellness resources
  • Compliance
    • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company standards
    • Ensure HR practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing employee benefits, such as ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
    • Manage annual audits related to benefits programs including serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Team Leadership
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, ensuring effective communication and efficient workflow.
    • Regularly review and update HR processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.

What We Need From You::
To perform this job successfully, an applicant must have professional demeanor, the ability to work independently, understand goals and deadlines and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
 

Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, a related discipline or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (benefits, compensation, and operations preferred).
  • Demonstrated success with highly detailed and deadline driven work.
Nice to have:
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR
  • One (1) or more years’ experience managing direct reports.
