BioLegend is looking for an energetic team lead to work in our dynamic, fast paced warehouse environment. This position will entail managing a highly automated outbound order fulfillment center, highly regulated inbound multi-site logistics groups, and maintaining international trade compliance.

Essential Functions

• Logistics management and space optimization
• Leadership with strategic outlook for a group of ~30+ associates
• Engagement, motivate, and support order fulfillment teams
• Setting standards and holding people accountable
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the inventory and warehouse team, including providing work schedules and assigning tasks
• Assist with recruiting potential candidates and providing training for new employees
• Approve employee timesheets and time off requests
• Write and/or revise SOPs in accordance with ISO standards
• Verify proper documentation, filing, and records
• Oversee the processing of all domestic and international shipments
• Evaluate Cost structures and network optimization for shipping lanes and carriers.
• Communicate closely with Customer Service, Packaging, and Shipping on all customer ordering needs
• Ensure that all packaging supplies are fully stocked
• Understand IATA and HazMat regulations for handling hazardous material (both in excepted and limited quantities)
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience

• Logistics experience (at least 5 years)
• Leadership experience (at least 5 years)
• ISO experience (9001 or 13485) (3 years experience)

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience

• ITC knowledge
• HazMat Experience
• Experience working with multiple sites and collaborating with corporate partners
• CLTD
• Bachelors in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
